May 9, 2008 - It's that time of year. Tryouts. Shockwave
is always looking for dedicated soccer players. If you are
looking for a team where the emphasis is on player development, you
should consider joining us!
At this age, players begin to look for the type of
team and coach that will best prepare them for playing in high
school.
We prepare players for high school.
If your goal is to
play for your high school team, playing for Shockwave will help you get there.
Please feel
free to contact us
today. We'll set up a
visit at one of our practices where both player and parents can see
what we're all about and ask questions of Shockwave coaches, players and
parents.

Shockwave Tryout Information
Primary Goal Is Player Development
May 3, 2008 - Tryouts for the 2008-2009 season will be from Saturday,
June 14th through Tuesday, July 15th. All Topeka
Select teams will hold sessions the first weekend at
Sunflower Soccer in Topeka.
The festival will be held from 9:00am-Noon
on Saturday and 5:00-8:00pm on Sunday.
In addition to tryouts, the festival will
give players and parents a chance to meet and get to know
other families and coaches.
Most importantly, it will give everyone a
chance to get answers to any questions all in one place.
Important! If you are currently rostered to a
premier team, please remember:
- Outside the free agent period, June 15-July 15, you must receive a release from your current team
before rostering with a new team or,
- You may roster with a new team if your present team
officially disbands or,
- You may roster with an additional team, but only
after receiving permission from your current coach to practice
and/or tryout.
- Please read the Kansas State Youth Soccer Rules
regarding tryouts and multiple rostering listed below.
